Photographer Bio (tell us something about yourself and what inspired the shot you took).  Please use separate sheet and attach to application.
 
Rules:
 
A. All pieces MUST be signed. We like gold or silver permanent markers or black Sharpies. Leave at LEAST 1/4 inch from the edge of picture.
B.  Pieces must be either framed with PLEXIGLAS or matted and shrink-wrapped (or clear envelope/mylar).
C.  All photos should be available for sale. We must take a 15% commission, due to credit card costs (and handling the transactions, taxes, paperwork).  Any photos that do not sell, will be returned to Art Show Participant C.O.D. Within four weeks of end of art show.
E.  The show date is April 2, but if it's raining, we'll postpone it for the following Saturday, April 9.
F. By signing this below application, you do NOT hold Julie London or Julie London Picture Framing responsible, if anything should happen to the photo.
 
Costs:
 
A. If you choose to send your piece in a tube, we can mount, matte and shrink wrap your piece for a fee.  Sizes for photo can be anywhere from 8 x 10 to 20 x 24 inches. We will accept panoramics.  (If you choose to have Julie London Picture Framing prepare the show requisites, the costs are: 8 x 10 to 16 x 20, acid-free materials is: $25.00; for paper mattes and regular foam board: $15.00
B.  To submit a photo for the show, a $20.00 fee is required.  For each piece you enter thereafter, the cost is $15.00/photo. If you enter five or more photos and POST the link on your Facebook Wall to Julie London Picture Framing, take $10.00 off your fee. You can post the link as often as you want. But you will only get a two-time only (maximum $20.00) credit. Include date(s) of link.
 
C. Some of our entries will be posted on our Sunset Facebook Page with your credit.
 
D. To determine price you want to place on your photo, we suggest you at LEAST cover your costs plus the commission the store receives.  (Don't forget the cost of your postage as well.)
 
E.  We will Award Best of Show among other categories.  Prize money to be determined by number of entries/sponsors.
 
F.   If you live out of driving range, an alternative is e-mailing info@venetianarts.com to get your photo done by them.  BenchMark Blueprinting, a family-owned business, can accept your photo files via e-mail and can print them and/or laminate them. Types of files accepted are .peg, .pdf, .ai, .psd, .eps, or .tif and resolution must be 300+ dpi. Or try a Walgreen's, and we'll pick it up from OUR local location.  (Saves you on mailing.)
 
G. CHARITY SUBMISSIONS - If five or more of one group wishing THE proceeds from prize money and the sale of the photo to go to their charity, Julie London Picture Framing will matte, mount and shrink wrap the photos AT NO COST (8 x 10's only).  The entry fee still must be paid, however.
 
No sunset photo rejected - unless there is something offensive in the photo or the quality isn't good.  Julie London is given FULL PERMISSION to turn down any work that is deemed inappropriate.
